Kristen has her first try in being in a relationship. Elsewhere, Heidi and Spencer are at odds when it comes to starting a family.

Kristin heads for trouble as she plans to stop some rumors. Spencer tries to ignore Holly and Stephanie as much as possible.

Spencer upsets the guests of a birthday party. Audrina questions her relationship.

Spencer and Heidi upset everyone else. Kristin and Brody might have a thing for each other.

Stephanie and Lo walk around Melrose Ave. When Lo asks Stephanie what she was up to earlier in the day, Steph reveals she had an AA meeting and confides that she needs more in her life than "going to meetings and bed at 10." She feels like she's in a good place for a new boy: She's sober and distanced from the Heidi / Spencer drama.

Across town in Venice, Kristin and Stacie begin Operation: Manhunt at a bar called Nikki's. Sick of seeing the same people every night, Kristin tells Stacie she's ready for some new boys. Maybe tonight's the night she'll meet Mr. Right! Or ... not. After brushing off some jerks at the bar, Kristin realizes a good man is hard to find.

Audrina meets up with Justin Bobby again and later tells Ryan about the doubts she has about their relationship. Lo invites Mikaela to Stephanies birthday party and Mikaela brings along an old acquaintance of Brody and Kristin.

Elsewhere in Hillsville, McKaela and Allie are grabbing a bite at Hollwood's Loteria Grill. After a little small talk (where McKaela admits she's still "minus" a boyfriend), the discussion circles back to rumors of Allie's break-in. Once again, Allie denies the story -- claiming Kristin's out to get her -- and insists Brody invited her over to his house. "I don't know what else to say," she says, when McKaela presses her for answers.

Over at Surfrider Beach in Malibu, Brody, Frankie and their pal Taylor are also discussing the Justin/Audrina situation. Can they really be friends after everything that's happened? Frankie's not so sure. Meanwhile, Brody's getting increasingly fed up with McKaela for bringing Allie Lutz around, despite his (and Kristin's) warnings. McKaela's looking for trouble, he tells the guys. She's not as innocent as she looks.

he group meets for drinks at the Florblanca resort. Justin makes Audrina uncomfortable when he tells her she looks "cute," while Kristin tries to make Brody jealous by flirting with the bartender, Will. Instead of getting angry, however, Brody tells Kristin to go for it, saying she is like his "little sister" and explaining that he is "looking for chicks, too." Furious, Kristin storms off while Audrina complains about Justin getting a little too touchy- bar

It's the penultimate episode, and things aren't looking good for Kristin, who tells Brody she wants to reunite, only to hear that he's started dating someone else. Meanwhile, Heidi's mom comes to town with hopes for a reunion of her own with her daughter.

Kristin drops by Brody's condo in Hollywood to let him know she'll be leaving town -- and to invite him to her going-away party. After asking whether he has anything to do with Kristin's decision (she insists he doesn't), Brody says he won't be going to her party because he refuses to celebrate her leaving. Kristin hopes to see him there, but Brody seems to have made up his mind. "Have fun at your party!" he shouts as she walks away.
